We care about your pets’ safety and well being. We want to assure you that every effort will be made to make your pets visit a pleasant experience. Please Understand that due to the very nature of being mobile we will occasionally be late due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, accidents, etc.) and cannot be held liable for time delays.
Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one, this can occur during or after the groom. In the best interest of your pet, we request your permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment should it become necessary. The client will grant permission to this establishment to obtain veterinary treatment for the pet at the client's expense, by agreeing to the terms and conditions.
To book an appointment a $25 non-refundable deposit per pet is required, and the deposit will be subtracted from the total at the time of service. Your appointment will be confirmed upon receiving a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $25 per pet (with a convenience fee, if paying with Debit or Credit Card). In addition, this applies to customers with maintenance schedules.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS
Each day our grooming calendar is very full, and we schedule appointments back-to-back and we turn potential clients away to hold reservations. There will be a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT FEE per pet, no new appointments will be scheduled until the non-refundable deposit fee is paid. It is the pet owner's responsibility to remember their appointment. Rescheduled appointments are the same as canceled appointments.
The pet parent must be present to specify service requested.
Terms and conditions must be agreed by the pet parent before any grooming services are provided.

Please have your pet prepared for the scheduled appointment time. It is best
recommended not to feed your pet before the grooming service, this may result in some
pets getting nervous and/or vomiting. For your pets safety, it is best if the pet is left alone
with the groomer. Pets can be easily distracted by their owner during the grooming
process as it is easier on them to focus on one person than multiple people. In the event
the groomer needs help with your pet, a notification call will be made to the pet parent. If
you have any questions or need to reach the groomer while grooming your pet it is best to
send a notification to the groomer.
If a pet shows signs of aggression, the groomer will determine within 10-15 minutes if it
is safe for your pet or the groomer to continue any services. The groomer will return the
pet to the owner at half the charge of the service provided. Please note that the groomer
will get as much of the groom done as possible. Michael’s Groomiez goal is to be as safe
as possible when grooming all pets. Michael’s Groomiez does not accept sedated pets, it
is best advised that a local veterinarian handle pets that must be sedated. The veterinary
office contains the proper medical equipment needed in case of a medical emergency.
FLEA AND TICKS
A pet that may be infested with fleas and or ticks will be charged an additional $15 extra
for flea/tick shampoo to help unwanted pests. It is the pet parent responsibility to keep
your pet on flea and tick prevention. Michael’s Groomiez will recommend a treatment
that is best for your pet, and strongly recommend keeping your pet on a regular grooming
schedule (once a month) to help you keep track of their flea/tick prevention.
I agree that Michael’s Groomiez will not be held liable for irritation, abrasion, patchiness
or hair loss due to any pre-existing skin conditions or as a result of the process of
grooming, de-matting, or shaving.
I agree that photographs will be taken of my dog before and after the groom for record
keeping and publicizing purposes, (example: instagram).
